For Christmas I received a gift certificate to get my nails done.So I thought I would take Alexia.I hesitated for a minute thinking I could paint them for free and save five dollars. but I thought she would love it, and she did.So thank you Jenny for not just giving me a gift certificate but giving me time with my daughter, doing something we both love.

Happy Birthday Alexia and Noah

This year Alexia's And Noah's birthday was different.Let me explain...I have been wanting to get the kids Disneyland passes so a friend (Selina) said hey you should ask for money instead of gifts....what a great idea.!...So the invites had to be cute so I got the kids outfits and took them to Disneyland.We went up to the ticket line and looked at who would let us do what we wanted to do. We found a older guy and he was happy to help, but my camera died and I didn't know if I got a good picture so we had to do it again with Selina camera, but the older guy was gone...So we found this younger guy and when we explained what we wanted to do which was the kids were going to try and get in but they had no pass and they were going to look sad...This guy was so excited to do it ( a little to happy)he started fixing his hair, fixed his eye brows and put on his sun glasses it was a little funny.Well Noah was scared of him and he didn't want to do it so I gave him a nudge and Selina took the picture, And what a great picture it was....

.....At there party they got enough money to get passes....Thank you to everyone who came.

That Darn Dog

As professor looks outside the fence.The moment that the fence opens, he is gone. So the other day the kids were playing outside and Alexia tells me that Noah went out the gate, so I tell him to get inside he is time out.Then I just ask Alexia to come inside. So hours later My mom came over and she asked were is professor? I don't know outside I guess. Great! I look everywhere around the house for this darn dog. He is gone. It was like 3 hours ago when I asked the kids to come in. Great he has been wondering around for 3 hours. Man he is gone. So Joe got in his car and started looking for him, then I decided to go look too so I got in my car and went the other way. Block after block I call out his name. I saw people outside and asked them but no luck. Great. So I am driving and driving and I saw him in someones yard I called his name, and was cautious because he likes to run when we get close, like we are playing, I was in no mood to play catch!. So I walk up to him slowly and I think he was so scared he didn't move.!I drove him back home, the kids were so happy. That darn dog!

First DAy on The JOb

Well I was suppose to work late afternoon near by, but the mom cancelled, I was bummed, but then my work called me and asked if I could work early Wednesday.So I jumped on it! So I woke up really early and took off.I was 30 minutes early!I guess I was a little too excited!so I knocked at the door and went in. "What do I do"I said all excited. The sister said nothing ! He just has to wait for his bus.WHAt? So I sat and talked to him a little since he couldnt talk, and he was really into the tv. So what did we do? We watched the Hills. NICE. 30 minutes later his bus came,to take him to school.What thats it? YUp! then his mom came like ten minutes later signed my time card and off I went.Worked 30 minutes and got paid for 2 hours. LOVE IT!I cant wait to work again.I know it cant all be this easy.

I Got A JOB!

So A while ago I asked for help looking for a job, thanks for everyone that help.(no one!, well at least no one told me.)I talked to my friend at my old work and asked her about a job that she use to have, so she gave me the name and I looked it up after about a week of having the name, I finally called and I went on there web site and filled out a app. The next day I get a call.WOW!So I went to a interview on Monday the 17th and they told me come back again for a orientation! So did I get the job well they said no, that they still can say no. What! So today I went for my orientation took a few test, like running across the room. Changing a dolls diaper And I passes!. I got the job. The best part of the job ,I get to pick my own hours. LOve it!SO know you are probably wondering what the job is since I had to run across the room. I will be a caregiver for kids with special needs.My first day on the job is this Wednesday, and I am so excited.Even more exciting is that the" client"
lives like 2 minutes away.So I can wait till Wednesday to meet him.wish me luck!

Its Time!

It is finally time! well its been time for a while I have just been putting it off....Wondering what time it is. Time to really start looking for a JOB! its been really nice staying home, but the time is up.Joe's job really isn't so stable and a while back Joe wasn't working which made us a little tight on money. So if any one knows who is hiring let me know.

The Big Dodger game!I think that's what Joe calls all the games. Joe loves the Dodgers! Well Richie took Joe to the Dodger game on Saturday.He was so happy getting out his Dodger gear.When he finally decided what he was going to wear he gave me the camera and said take a picture of me.So you can blog about me. I Did It!

Well I was trying to change my background and I figured out how to add people to "My Blog List".I am so happy. I have tried and tried for days and for hours to figure it out.I did it. I did it!

A shooting STAR

Alexia and I were in the car waiting for Joe to come back with a movie and Alexia Said look mommy a"shooting Star".I got really excited and said where? right there. she said .I looked and it was a airplane.!I explained to her it was just a airplane that writes in the sky.Poor thing she got sad, maybe next time I might just stretch the true.

Ouch!

I was a couple weeks late from taking Aiden to get his year shots.The reason, my camera was broken....I like to take pictures of all of there shots.Why? I have no idea.I think it all started with Alexia.I took pictures of her like crazy so I had my camera when I took her to the doctors and took a picture.Then if I took her first shots I had to take her second and third all the way up to 4 yrs.And If i took pictures of Alexia I had to do Nono, and of course I cant forget my Aiden.The nurses all think it is pretty funny,Whats funny is that they ask me if I am ready and they all make sure I get there good side.(I don't think they know I don't get there face.)

The Big 29

So today we went to Mimi's Cafe for JOES B-DAY.Joe was a little down because he doesn't really like the place, but when you have a gift card.Free is always good. Like I said FREE is good.So we sit down and before we order anything they bring out cheerios,crackers and a orange for all the kids. Wow.That's was pretty cool in my book.I normally ask for crackers and never get them everywhere else.!

Then the manager comes up to Alexia and starts talking to her and nono and plays a little with Aiden and tells them if you eat all your food I will give you dessert.!What more FREE stuff. Man Joe and I started eating there food you know to help them out a little.Then I say Ya its Daddy's Bday and only he is going to get cake.And wahlah they bring over a chocolate pie for Joe, and three little desserts for the kids for free. Man I love this place.But wait there is more! the manager Amanda said to Joe your dinner is on US! and gave him a bday card, with what Another free thing. Free Appetizer!I think Joe likes this place now.!I think I should have title this post Free stuff at Mimi's Cafe.

Amazing People

The other night Joe and I got invited to celebrate a friends birthday, but it wasn't any old birthday it was 20 years of being sober!We went to eat and across the street was a church that has AA meetings.I have never been to a meeting like this before.I went to one when Joe was still using and I found one for him and made him go. It was so horrible, But I put on a smile and said to Joe wow it was great, its by our house, nice people, you should keep going.It was so hard to see Joe the way he was, I was just hoping that something, someone could help him.He refused to go back.Since I knew how horrible it was I didn't really push. When he was ready he found a couple places he likes, and if the meetings he goes to are like anything like the one we went to in Santa Monica. Wow.I know why he keeps going back.
There was a young man about in his early 30's that was a speaker. He talked a little about his life how he grew up and how it was the perfect family I believe he used "A leave it to Beaver Family".There was no reason why he should have become a alcoholic. It was wrong friends and the wrong group.It just made me wonder man I really only thought it happens to people that didn't have a good family.Family's that don't talk to each other. The guy is now married and very sober.
The second speaker was a girl who had no child hood, she was abused at a young age and started using early on. her life just got worse and worse,she was in and out of jail and prison, at the age of 30 something her 5yr got killed.she began to drink more for a little bit but then knew she needed help. She went to a rehab place with two teeth and most of her hair gone. The staff said there was no more beds.She cried and tried some where else to go. She had no where. The next day she went back to that place and man said I was thinking of you all night, they had a bed for her she started crying, that was the day her whole life changed.She has been sober since 1997.She has turned her whole life around.!She knew when she could she would help all the women she can.She knew going to prison was not the answer she need help.So she has a house and opened it up to other women helping them.She now has 10 houses helping women help them selves.She has been written about in People magazine and a couple other magazine. She is truly amazing.
I cant wait till the day I am there listening to Joe's story, and looking back and seeing all the people that he could be helping.I know one day he will get there when he believes that he can help someone.Until then I will just support him and continue to thank him for changing.

Guess who turned 1

It is my little Aidens Birthday today.He has grown so so much.He is crawling (ok army crawling) all over the house. Just like nono at his age he goes to the dog bowl! I dont know what he likes playing with more the water or the food.Happy Birthday Aiden I hope you have fun tomorrow at your party!

I love my neighbores

We were all sitting outside getting fresh air and our neighbores came outside too and they asked if the kids could come over and play. Hum Ya! They went over to play with there dog ,( because our four isn't good enough )but instead they played with the mom.It was really nice to see the kids play and have fun.I remember when I was there age and I use to play outside with all the little kids, but there is no kids on our block, ( or they just don't come outside)There is a house next door to us for sale hopefully it will be a house with alot of kids!

Its Bath Time

It's bath time for Aiden, and I love that he still fits in the sink. It is so fast and easy.

I taught Aiden how to splash.....Not a good idea....in the kitchen....

I think this will be the last bath time in the sink because looking at the pictures, he is lookin kinda big, plus he can splash more in the tub.

Free Movie!

Thanks jenny for the email about the 3d movie. I was excited to take the kids to the movies since we haven't been in a while.The glasses were a little big for nono so he didn't were them for most of the time. Alexia and Aiden loved it.I was kind of scared to take Aiden, because of the noise, but he was fine, actually when it wasn't loud he would get squirmy.All and all it was a fun free 45 minutes.

Can U Hold The Sun For Me Please?

So on July 3rd our church went to the beach for a bonfire. The kids had a blast, and I had fun taking pictures of the kids. There was one picture I just love. Joe "Holding" the sun.

I have been taking Aiden to the beach and he loves the sand.

So I heard that there was going to be motorcycles at the Queen Mary.Noah LOVES motos! So i talked to my dad because he works there and asked him about it.Love the benefits of my dad working there.
